Visit the artists Trine Søndergaard and Jesper Fabricius in their studios at FABRIKKEN for kunst og design 

Get a look into the work and practice of two prominent Danish artists when art photographer Trine Søndergaard and artist Jesper Fabricius invite inside their artistic workshops at FABRIKKEN for kunst og design on Wednesday 8 June from 4.45 pm

4.45-4.55 pm Introduction to FABRIKKEN for kunst og design

Charlotte Malte, Director of FABRIKKEN for kunst og design, gives a brief introduction to FABRIKKEN and the many events it hosts. FABRIKKEN is both an artistic workplace for more than 70 artists, and it lends its walls and floors to numerous exhibitions, markets and other major events in the central factory hall.

5-5.25 pm Visit art photographer Trine Søndergaard’s studio 

Trine Søndergaard is internationally recognized for her quiet and powerful photographic imagery and is currently working on the exhibition ‘Faraway Nearby’ at Greve Museum. In a conversation with art historian Mette Haakonsen, she talks about her practice.

5.30-6 pm Visit publisher and artist Jesper Fabricius’ studio 

Jesper Fabricius has a wide-ranging artistic practice that includes collage, graphics, photography, film, drawing, painting and installation. He is also the founder of the award-winning art book publisher Space Poetry and the experimental art magazine Pist Protta. Fabricius will talk about his practice and work with Space Poetry and Pist Protta during the visit.
