The Untitled Lace series depicts a number of women’s faces veiled by antique French mourning lace. The women are in a mourning dress and all have their eyes closed. The pictures convey the private, mental space that is created with the veiling of the face, but they also address grief and death.
The series Untitled Lace was shown at Trine Søndergaard’s solo exhibition “A Room Inside” at Martin Asbæk Gallery 2015.
